About MyNRL.tips

MyNRL.tips is an AI-powered NRL prediction site. For every match of the rugby league season we publish a win probability for each team and a predicted margin, along with the reasoning behind them — built from team strength, form, the draw and the latest team news.

What we do

Each round, our model looks at every fixture and estimates how likely each side is to win and by roughly how much. Instead of a gut call, you get a calibrated number you can weigh against your own knowledge of the game. Predictions refresh through the week as team lists and conditions firm up, and lock at kick-off so the pick you saw is the pick that's recorded.

We built MyNRL.tips because footy is more fun when you understand why a game is expected to go a certain way — not just who the favourite is, but what's driving it: a returning spine, a brutal travel schedule, a defence quietly falling apart. Our goal is to make that reasoning clear and easy to follow.

How the predictions are built

Every prediction combines several signals — a rolling team-strength rating, recent form and scoring trends, home-ground and venue effects, rest and travel, and who's named in the 17, with the heaviest weight on the key spine positions. Where betting markets are available, we use them as one input among several. The full methodology is set out in how our predictions work.

An honest word on accuracy: no model tips a perfect season, and rugby league is deliberately unpredictable. Our numbers describe likelihoods, not certainties. A strong favourite still loses regularly, and that's expected. Everything here is for information and entertainment — never a guarantee.

Who's behind it

MyNRL.tips is part of FunkyIQ, which builds predictive models across sport and other fields. The same team runs a companion horse-racing site. We're independent — not affiliated with the National Rugby League, any club, or any wagering operator.
